About Sturgeon
The project is located in the northeast portion of Wisconsin in the middle of The Door County peninsula. The ship canal is used as a shortcut for vessels using the ports of Green Bay and Menominee. All ramps are free to use. Ramp surfaces include 3 paved concrete ramps suitable for larger motorized vessels. 1 ramp is ADA accessible, and 3 have designated parking (3 with trailer parking). Ramps are managed by DNR Division of Parks and Trails.
