About Round

In Maryland, the Journey Through Hallowed Ground is considered to be the “spine on the chapters of our American history. ” Running through a National Heritage Area, the byway corridor showcases the memorable recreation opportunities, sights, and history that's only contained in the place “Where America Happened. All ramps are free to use. Ramp surfaces include 6 paved concrete ramps suitable for larger motorized vessels, 1 gravel ramp, 6 carry-in launches for kayaks and canoes. 12 have designated parking (8 with trailer parking). Ramps are managed by Anoka County, DNR Division of Fish and Wildlife, DNR Division of Parks and Trails, and others.
