About Rogers

Take a trip through the Jefferson National Forest along the Mount Rogers Scenic Byway, a byway that is not in one part, but two! The roadway takes you into the heart of the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area. All ramps are free to use. Ramp surfaces include 1 paved concrete ramp suitable for larger motorized vessels, 2 carry-in launches for kayaks and canoes. 2 ramps are ADA accessible, and 3 have designated parking (1 with trailer parking). Ramps are managed by City of Mendota, DNR Division of Parks and Trails.
