Big Stone Wetland Management District was established in 1996 and includes 23 waterfowl production areas. These small parcels of wetlands and grasslands are scattered throughout a two-county area and encompass more than 4,000 total acres. All ramps are free to use. Ramp surfaces include 4 carry-in launches for kayaks and canoes. 4 have designated parking. Ramps are managed by DNR Division of Parks and Trails, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
