About Pine

The Pine Forest Range, in northern Nevada's arid Great Basin, is a rare and exceptional area of abundant streams and clear, cold subalpine lakes. Nestled in a cirque and fed by snowmelt and springs, these lakes are not only visually stunning but also possess an excellent trout fishery. All ramps are free to use. Ramp surfaces include 3 paved concrete ramps suitable for larger motorized vessels, 4 carry-in launches for kayaks and canoes. 8 have designated parking (6 with trailer parking). Ramps are managed by DNR Division of Parks and Trails.
