About Marsh
The Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1951 under the authority of the Migratory Bird Conservation Act of 1929 with a 50-year license agreement between the State of Florida and the U. S. All ramps are free to use. Ramp surfaces include 2 paved concrete ramps suitable for larger motorized vessels, 2 gravel ramps, 4 carry-in launches for kayaks and canoes. 8 have designated parking (6 with trailer parking). Ramps are managed by DNR Division of Fish and Wildlife, DNR Division of Parks and Trails, U.S. Forest Service.
