About Lac Lavon
Minnesota Valley Wetland Management District, established in 1988, is a 14-county district located in the transition zone between northern tallgrass prairie and eastern deciduous forest. The district manages more than 10,000 acres of land dedicated to wildlife and wildlife-dependent recreation, including more than 30 waterfowl production areas and more than 50 easements. All ramps are free to use. Ramp surfaces include 1 paved concrete ramp suitable for larger motorized vessels, 2 carry-in launches for kayaks and canoes. 3 ramps are ADA accessible, and 3 have designated parking. Ramps are managed by City of Apple Valley.
