About Fall
A perennial spring supplies the water flowing through a short distance in the Great Falls Basin Wilderness, and that reach has cut a narrow and deep slot in the bedrock forming several falls. The steep mountainous terrain includes granite outcrops which provide opportunities for cross country hiking and exploration. All ramps are free to use. Ramp surfaces include 2 paved concrete ramps suitable for larger motorized vessels. 3 have designated parking (3 with trailer parking). Ramps are managed by City of Winton, DNR Division of Parks and Trails, U.S. Forest Service.
