About Crane
Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1992 to protect one of the largest, most intact wetland complexes remaining in central Minnesota. Currently composed of 14 parcels of land, the refuge encompasses approximately 2,150 acres. All ramps are free to use. Ramp surfaces include 3 paved concrete ramps suitable for larger motorized vessels. 3 have designated parking (2 with trailer parking). Ramps are managed by DNR Division of Parks and Trails, St. Louis County.
