About Camp
OverviewThe Hobo Camp Trailhead offers opportunities for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, along with providing a picnic area featuring 12 sites equipped with tables, fire rings, barbeques, and a double vault toilet. It is a popular spot for picnics, swimming, and fishing, serving as the starting point for excursions on the 25-mile Bizz Johnson Trail and the 7-mile South Side Trail leading to Devil’s Corral trailhead on the Bizz Johnson Trail. All ramps are free to use. Ramp surfaces include 3 paved concrete ramps suitable for larger motorized vessels, 1 gravel ramp, 2 carry-in launches for kayaks and canoes. 4 have designated parking (4 with trailer parking). Ramps are managed by DNR Division of Parks and Trails.
