About Cameron
Created in 1988, Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge was the 447th refuge established. Consisting of fresh marsh, coastal prairie, and old rice fields, Cameron Prairie NWR is located at the convergence of two major flyways. All ramps are free to use. Ramp surfaces include 1 paved concrete ramp suitable for larger motorized vessels, 1 gravel ramp. 2 have designated parking (2 with trailer parking). Ramps are managed by City of Erskine, DNR Division of Parks and Trails.
