About Big Stone

Big Stone Wetland Management District was established in 1996 and includes 23 waterfowl production areas. These small parcels of wetlands and grasslands are scattered throughout a two-county area and encompass more than 4,000 total acres. All ramps are free to use. Ramp surfaces include 8 paved concrete ramps suitable for larger motorized vessels. 1 ramp is ADA accessible, and 8 have designated parking (8 with trailer parking). Ramps are managed by City of Ortonville, DNR Division of Parks and Trails.
